Shinampoo Ko Lang Yan...
I had my hair rebonded to give it a straight silky look that I always wanted. The after results were amazing. Well, it should be after having my credit card swiped with such an obscene amount.

Imagine I (in bright pink top) used to be this thin over a year ago. Will I ever get back in shape again?  Posted by Hello

The Christmas That Was
It's Christmas time once again and I'm proud to say I'm done with my Christmas shopping before the hustle and bustle in the malls. My mom was quite frustrated though because of her busy schedule and loss of her ever dependable christmas shopping partner. I've already offered her that I'd do her shopping given that she can't complain with the items I bought for her despite the promise of big savings with the help of my shopping skills and bazaar galore.

This season is also a perfect excuse to go home late every night. For almost two weeks now till end of this month, invitations from various parties, gimmicks and other engagement kept flowing out of my schedule. I meet up with old friends, reunite with family, visiting my inaanaks etc etc. I've never been this busy and I'm having a lot of fun.

I've also enjoyed giving gifts to loved ones and friends as much as I receive them and recycle them to be given to others. I know it's bad but I don't think it won't harm giving away another banana cake instead of letting it rot in my stock pile. I save enough money and I make another person happy. Lest be known that it is truly the thought that counts.

All in all, this yuletide season wasn't bad. Wasn't bad at all.

Boracay
Just got back from my boracay trip with my college girlfriends and it was a blast. I didn't get enough tan though because of the somber weather There weren't much people due to the recent storms. That means less cute guys to spot and more privacy to flaunt my newly bought bikinis.

The food is fantastic and the bars are great in Bora. My favorites are Jona's fruit shakes, Bailey's shake and mind eraser in Hey Jude Bar and the Chopsuey special and 50 bucks meals at the Blueberry restaurant in D' Mall. Acutally, there are many choices of restaurants and bars to choose from. I was surprised to see they are at least 5 restaurants that offers eat-all-you-can mongolian for Php 180 only. Luckily, I don't have much appetite to challenge myself (plus the fact that my girl friends are 4 sizes less than me on string bikinis so I was unconsciously conscientious).

My friends and I went on a tour around the island. We went snorkeling on the deep areas in Boracay but wasn’t able to see the fishes because the current was too strong that some of us got scared to go far away from the boat. We didn’t even get to Poca island because the waves are too strong for the boat to get there. Instead, we just went to some isolated beach and swam for the whole day. It was then I learned that it was not practical to walk on flippers while under water. My friend managed to get enough evidences in her digital cam to prove my point. And after all the cussing and struggle to make it to the shore, my tour mates gave me a round of applause for finally making it back on the boat.

I have also engaged myself into jet skiing. For 30 minutes, I was able to ride with my friends despite the strong waves. I was also able to wear my new water shoes but for some reason, I slipped and crashed butt-first on the playground’s bamboo flooring in front of watching Koreans and a dozen of playground handlers. Imagine a fat girl in a pink bikini falling butt first on the ground and you’ll see what I mean.

After the speed trip, we just lounged on the beach and strolled in the stalls. I managed to shop more than I should because I went home with more than 7kgs in my backpack.

After this vacation, I promised myself to go back to Bora and hopefully with a smaller waistline, daring clothes and tons of cute guys to look at.

Night Shift
For the past four nights, I've been working on weird hours to keep up with the people I need to work with in NY. It was pretty amazing how I was able to quickly adapt back after my last release about more than a year ago. It was because I favor working alone in a big quiet room with PnE or Sandwich blaring in my speakers as I do my work. It relaxes me and makes me focus on my work without any distractions that I get from doing my work during daytime. I mean, my kind of work deals with so many people that I cannot shut myself from everybody to do my own programming work.

Anyway, this morning concludes my almost week-long of grunt work after having Joann and Ken upload my work into production. I'm looking forward for my long well-deserved vacation in Boracay next week.

Unsilent Night
Despite the fiesty strong winds and pouring rain brought by Yoyong (or Yoyoy as China Ortaleza would put it), my officemates and I still went to the NU Rock awards last night. All of my favorite bands are there including Orange and Lemons, Bamboo, Rivermaya (sorry Dennis, gusto ko talaga yung "Liwanag sa Dilim"), Sandwich, Slapshock and Stonefree. I also got starstruck as I saw Cindy Kurleto, John Lloyd Cruz, Asia Agcaoili (she even brought her vibrator for show and tell *wink*), and many more. But the best thing that happened that night was that OnL (congrats guys!) won the new artist of the year category, Bamboo won Band of the Year (congrats din sa inyo....) and seeing Marc Abaya looking so hot when he was half-naked. Of course the sound trip is equally amazing especially seeing all of them performing live but having your favorite bands bag awards is like rooting for the winning team and seeing my dream guy just a few meters away within reach singing live. ;)

Hopefully that by next year, Spongecola, Stonefree, Imago and Kitchie will make it in the nominations and I don't mind spending money to repeat this experience.
