Marital Pressure

My relatives are already pushing me to get married. Here is one typical scenario:

Aunt: How old are you?
Me: 27 na po...
Aunt: Pwede na yan? (mag-asawa)
Me: Di ko pa po feel eh.
Aunt: Wag mo na kasi hintayin at baka mahirapan ka na niyan
Me: Ok lang po. Di po ako nagmamadali

It never stops, reunion after reunion. From my lola, tito, titas and even my cousins are more than ready to ship me off to marital bliss (or hell) because I am the next one eligible in the Jongco clan to tie the knot. My Lola would always ask if I brought a boyfriend along which never happens. If not, she starts to enumerate all my exes and started to ask me why I broke up with them. Maybe if I show off one of those hunky Korean actors as my boyfriend, she'll stop doing the roll call of my former flames.

Only time will tell when I will get there and take the big leap.
